Design Intern
About the job
Our mission at Chordify is to make it as easy as possible for musicians of all skill levels to learn to play their favorite music.
As a Design Intern in our Marketing team, you will help improve the visuals people see before they download the Chordify app. You’ll work on designs for the App Store and Google Play, such as screenshots, feature graphics, and other store assets. Your work will help us test what attracts new users, improve our app store presence, and support one of our most important goals: increasing downloads.
This internship is a great fit for a creative student who likes designing for real users, is curious about what makes a visual work, and enjoys improving designs based on feedback and results. You’ll work on a real assignment with visible impact.
You’ll experiment with different designs and messages, learn what performs well, and iterate from there. If you’re curious, patient, and interested in how design can influence user behaviour, you’ll probably enjoy this role.
You'll thrive here if you:
Are an MBO or HBO student in your final year
Study Media, Design, Communication, or a related creative field
Have Design and DTP skills
Have a good eye for layout, visual hierarchy, and consistency
Enjoy working with existing brand guidelines
Are curious about what makes people click, download, or engage
Can work independently, while also asking for feedback when needed
Are comfortable iterating on the same type of design multiple times
Are available for up to 32 hours per week (Mon-Thu)
Are located in the Netherlands
Nice-to-haves:
Good communication skills
Experience with Figma, Photoshop, or Canva
Interest in video and animation, experience is a big plus!
Interest in app marketing, app store visuals, or performance-based design
Curiosity about data and how design results can be measured

Our take on requirements
You don’t need to tick every box to apply. We care more about your curiosity, motivation, and willingness to learn than about a perfect match on paper.
If this role sounds exciting, and you feel you could grow into it, we’d love to hear from you. We especially encourage you to apply if you bring a different perspective, background, or path into tech.
