Our mission at Chordify is to make it as easy as possible for musicians of all skill levels to learn to play their favorite music.
As a Linux Admin at Chordify, you'll help maintain and improve the server infrastructure, for both our users and colleagues.
Within Chordify you'll work in the Digital Infrastructure team - a team whose mission it is to provide a secure and reliable infrastructure for Chordify's operations. Ultimately, our users will have a great experience on our apps and web, thanks to the stable server infrastructure that you help provide.
You

are a Linux Admin with experience in
administration of Linux servers: configuration, storage, permissions, backups;
networking;
configuration and management of services;
databases (replication, backups, storage) are a plus
some intersection with our technology stack is also a plus: puppet, mariadb, haproxy, proxysql, redis, docker, nginx, nagios, wireguard, object storage;
enjoy making services work, based on the needs of the organisation and the constraints of the infrastructure;
can think analytically and systematically close in at the root cause of a problem;
are not afraid of picking up new technologies and learning new things;
are mindful of relevant security tradeoffs;
can communicate in English;
have a proactive mindset;
are a team player;
love music;
are located in the Netherlands.

You will
be part of the Digital Infrastructure team - a multidisciplinary team that focuses on maintaining, refining, and improving the infrastructure which runs our internal services and supports the millions of people who use Chordify every day;
help monitor services and flag up anomalies;
collaborate with other server admins, spot inefficiencies, debug errors, propose improvements;
set up and manage user accounts for our colleagues;
configure and maintain services for our colleagues, such as CI/CD or self-hosted services;
use version controlled configuration management to test and deploy your changes;
keep cybersecurity in mind at all times;
give (and receive) constructive feedback of how things work, both in the infrastructure and in the team;
work 32-40 hours per week.
You get
a gross monthly salary of €3000 to €4200 (based on 40h/week, excluding 8% holiday allowance) depending on your skills and expertise;
